The Heritage Isle Main Entrance
In 2006, the National Association of Homebuilder recognized the Heritage Isle community entrance with an Innovation Award. The striking main entrance greets you with a magnificent bridge, two rows of elegant lampposts leading your way in, along with beautiful entry monuments. The fountains make the community entrance even more spectacular.
The Wickham Road gates will be left open and the gatehouse will not be attended during daylight hours until the homes in the first 4 villages are complete and Legacy Boulevard has been extended to Judge Fran Jamieson Drive. Then the Wickham Road gates will be closed at night and resident access will be via card or radio transmitted opener. Guests will use the call box at the gate. It is anticipated that the gatehouse at Wickham Road will be manned only during the evening hours on a rotating 8 hour shift basis for the first few years.
There will be a secondary entrance to Heritage Isle built in the future at Judge Fran Jamieson Drive. That entry will be arm gates only. There will be no gate house or attendant at this entrance.
Although access to Legacy Boulevard is gate controlled, the borders of Heritage Isle are not enclosed. No walls or fences are planned around the perimeter of Heritage Isle.
